Design Projects
Bachelor Pad | NYC
This project marks a turning point in Robert and Cortney’s careers. They had just purchased 4 properties in the Soho neighborhood of Manhattan at the bud of Soho’s transformation. This is one of the homes on that block; the start of something fantastic. As the largest project Bob and Cortney had ever undertaken at this point, they weren’t just transforming a single house, but the character of an entire street. This project was featured in Cookie Magazine, Living Etc., & over 20 other publications. This unit was their chance to design the ultimate bachelor pad, as their client wanted a home in which he could easily entertain four hundred of his closest friends.
Suzanne Vega's Apartment
In a gorgeous pre-war building in the Upper West Side, Susan Vega’s apartment had the perfect bones and furniture collection for the inception of a great project for Bob and Cortney. The apartment was lacking the small details needed to make a home unique. By reorganizing the space, adding a reading nook, and an updated chandelier, the apartment really came to life.
Hamptons House
The Novogratz redesigned the floor plan of a house in the Hamptons for a client who wanted an open floor plan to accommodate big summer parties. They kept the interiors white to enhance the natural light, and used pops of red and yellow for a classic, modern vibe.
Tony Hawk's Mountain Home | Mammoth, CA
An early 1970’s house in Mammoth Mountain, CA, Tony Hawk’s ski house was designed to be a kid-friendly skier’s haven. With pro-skateboarder Tony as an inspiration for the design, it’s no surprise that the house turned out as hip and cutting edge as Tony himself.
